Bakersfield Church Support for Moms
MOPS
(moms of pre-schoolers-ages 0-6 years) aims to nurture moms. There are many in Bakersfield. They run September through May (but you can join throughout the year if there is room). Children go to the childcare program; moms meet at their table with other moms., eat, have a speaker with discussion, and do a craft. Usually 9-11:30ish, most churches don't require you to attend the church or even be of a specific religion. Fee applies.
